I have wanted to try this whole blog thing for awhile now. Shoot, I even created this website months ago. However, I struggled with what I wanted to even write about (I also debated if I was a good enough writer to even have a blog, but then dismissed the thought pretty quickly, when I realized that this could be a place where I could learn and grow!).
Then, as I read other blogs and blogs of my friends, I realized that the best thing about the blog, is getting a window view of what is happening in someone else's world. This is ideal for me, because life is super crazy (for everyone!)and sometimes there just isn't time to make those plans to keep in touch.
All that being said, I came to the conclusion that I wanted to write about my (and my family's) life (and everything about it), in order for other's (including my family!) to be kept in the loop about what is going on in our lives, but also to have the memories recorded, both verbally and picturesquely - will hopefully be something I cherish.
Another delay came about in determining what would be the "first" post. Finally, I just decided that I should just go ahead and get the first one out of the way, and hopefully, the rest will come easier :).
