Baby Giggles
I love spending my evenings with Sam. It is precious, precious time I cherish because I feel like I miss a lot of bonding time while I am at work. Sam, despite his initial bouts of colic, is a happy baby. And boy do I love his smile and little laugh. It melts my heart. Every. Single. Time. Here is a little video to spread the joy :)

Baby on the Move
Sam started crawling around 8 1/2 months (army crawling :) ). He is ALL over the place :). It is really fun to watch him explore and even watching his memory form (he ALWAYS remembers, no matter where he is at in the house, that the dog bowls are by the back door :) ).
In fact - on Good Friday - I learned that he could pull up on his own. I was at home working, and had put him in his crib to nap. He had other ideas.... I am used to hearing him talking sometimes when I put him down for a nap, but he just usually falls asleep. This time...however....he did not :). My aunt had skyped me, and since I heard him talking - I said if she didn't make any noise, I would sneak in the room and show her Sam. When I opened the door, the little booger was up on his knees in his crib trying to play with his humidifier. While I was talking to her in the room - laughing / amazed...he pulled himself into a standing position to get a closer position to the humidifier. The stinker :). Needless to say, his crib was lowered (for the first time) that night.

Hair today, gone tomorrow...
We did it. We pulled the plug. We got Sam his first haircut. His hair has mostly always been unruly, but what pushed us over the edge was the fact that it was getting in his eyes.
We booked him an appointment with Andy's hair stylist, Susan, a woman who has cut Andy's hair for the last ten years. Sam did a really good job and she did a great job moving with him (as you can imagine, he wasn't the most still baby).
Here are so before and after photos:
